Kellie Martin, an American actress and film director most well-known for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin started her acting career at the age of was seven years old. She was a niece of her aunt who served as the nanny for Michael Landon's children helped her land one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more serious. Her roles were significant on TV as well as the big screen. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a talented photographer and dancer. Mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus representative and promotes awareness about the condition every day since the death of her sister when she was age 19.
